Purple Nine Patch & Ballband Dishcloths

I made my first nine patch dishcloth. It is a great project for using up little bits of yarn. The only downside of it is that there are quite a few ends to weave in when finished. I also made a matching ballband cloth too.

Here is a status report on my log cabin blankie...one side of the border is done! Only three more sides to go. I can do it. I can do it. I can do it...

Hi Abby,
I live in SB too! I just started up my blog a few days ago and have been stumbling around trying to get it to work. I have been making a ton of dishcloths too. I'd like to try that garterlac one next.

Do you belong to any knit groups? I started the Java Station group a few years ago and now knit at the library on Tuesday nights. It would be fun to meet you!

Oh, these cloths are so gorgeous, I love the pattern as well as the colors you were using! Great job!

Our library knit group meets tonight at the downtown public library at 6:30 until closing (usually 8:30-ish). I will plan on being there for sure. Go in the main entrance and turn left at the check-out desk. You will enter a room with a big fireplace -- we will have a table in that area. I believe that the Java Station group meets on Thursday evenings, but I am not sure what time. If you go after 7:00, I'm sure you'll run into some friendly faces.

Hello Abby! I found your blog through Laura's. :) I just wanted to say that I am one of the knitters at Java Station (from Laura's original group actually) that your husband saw. If you ever have a free Thursday night, you are welcome to join us!

Hey Abby! Sorry I've been MIA and neglected to tell you I received my dishcloths. As everyone can tell in the photo, they are even more beautiful in person. I remember visiting your blog awhile back and thought "those are so pretty" and you know I love purple! Thanks so much for the wonderful cloths and the lemon verbena soap. I have it here by the computer and it smells awesome!

This may be a stupid question, but where can I find the 9 Patch Dishcloth pattern? I have seen many versions of it and would lover to make one!
