Mitered Square Dishcloth

I needed to take a break from the log cabin blanket that I'm knitting, so I made a mitered square dishcloth. I followed the mitered square directions in the Mason Dixon Knitting book and then made a "log cabin" border. I got the idea for the log cabin border from Domino Knitting by Vivian Hoxbro. In Domino Knitting there is a section of making potholders while learning the modular knitting techniques. I decided my mitered square would be more useful as a dishcloth and not a potholder. If it were to be a potholder I would double the yarn to make it thicker and then it would be better for picking up hot stuff.
